The Nomad half cage is the most lightweight and seamless cage for the R50V. With a plastic body, nylon Arca plate and rubber grip it is 3x lighter than a comparable aluminium cage.
The grip extension makes the R50V more comfortable to hold, especially with heavy lenses. Thanks to the textured rubber, the grip is soft and feels nice to hold all day long.
The nylon Arca plate is made to last, while sliding nicely into any Arca baseplate. It is compatible with all Arca baseplates and interfaces with spring pins to keep your camera from sliding off.
The ¼ - 20 holes let you attach accessories and mount your R50V vertically seamlessly.
The cage leaves perfect access to the camera’s battery and memory card compartment.
